Local Area Paralimni has a large high street full of shops and various boutiques, with 3 very large supermarkets supplying all your needs, lots of Taverna’s & bars. Cyprus is a wonderful place to explore or just chill out on the beach, there are countless beaches & bays along the coast. 5 minute drive away is the tourist area of Protaras. Protaras strip is a mile worth of holiday entertainment all on one road. Bars, Restaurants with mixed cuisines, Shops, Money Exchange, Excursions, Banks, Arcades and some of the most divine beaches in the area. Fig Tree Bay is Protaras' famous beach and has nearly every kind of water sport available from Jet Ski’s to paragliding to powerboat rides!!,there is also a very quaint church on the hill which is well worth a visit. If you wish to venture away from the luxuries around you, this resort is only a short drive away from Cyprus' famous, Ayia Napa resort (15 minutes). The shopping, bars and the beaches are incredible, and for the outgoing people, the nightlife in Ayia Napa is legendary. At the end of Nissi Avenue, the main road running through Ayia Napa, is Europe's largest Water World Water Park. Soaking good fun for people of all ages and an ideal way to cool down on a hot day. Further a field, no trip to Cyprus is complete without a trip up the Troodos Mountains less than two hour drive away.
